2018 Whitecaps Menu Delivers Foodie Fun to Fans

As the 2018 baseball season kicks off for the West Michigan Whitecaps, so does a new menu filled with plenty of must-try items.

Every year fans select one winner from several foodie creations as their pick for the next season’s menu. This year, Mt. Wing-suvius claimed the top spot. This epic menu addition contains a mixture of mac and cheese, beer cheese, and buffalo chicken inside a stack of onion rings. It’s the ultimate comfort food and perfect for the ballpark. John King, the creator, stated: “When you can’t decide what to eat, just wing it!” Well played, John. We’re in.

The Westsider is another great addition to the 2018 menu. Featuring a HALF-POUND cheddar-infused kielbasa sausage that is wrapped in bacon and deep fried. It has a slightly spicy kick and is big enough to split or you can keep this all to yourself.

Coming back again for the 25th season is the Whitecaps original sandwich, Swimmin’ Pig. No matter what your taste preferences are, this is a sandwich everyone can get behind. It’s slightly sweet BBQ sauce served on a Kaiser bun makes for the perfect ballpark meal. This is a limited edition sandwich though with only 25 sandwiches available at 25 games. You can get the Swimmin’ Pig on Opening Day then every Thursday-Saturday home game from May 18th to September 1st. Get it before it swims away!

Okay spicy fans, this is a challenge for you. New Spicy Boneless Wings are being offered in three unique flavors, “Wimpy, Near Death, and Death Nectar.” By far THE HOTTEST wing we have ever tried…appropriately named “Death Nectar”. Only 2 Death Nectar wings are allowed per order. You’ve been warned.

Next up is a really big and tasty burger called The Big Wheel. With two 1/3lb patties, cheese, and topped off with a Johnsonville Brat, this burger is definitely a BIG deal.

You can choose from either Yakisoba or Lo Mein noodles following by your choice of Coconut lime or Thai broth. Then top it off with your choice of carrots, sprouts, green onions, and Sriracha spice. We were impressed with this menu item!
