Located near Fulton SE and Ada Dr, just across from post office, The Averill Museum recounts the history of Ada through a collection 19th century items and artifacts including those of Rix Robinson, the first settler to set up a trading post in the area. The museum hosts special exhibits throughout the year, as well as a farmer's market May-October and Music on the Lawn every 2nd Tuesday during the summer. Admission is free and the organization is run completely by local volunteers.
