Works by Donna F. St. John and our West Michigan community
March 16 – May 26
Opening Reception March 16 | 6:00-8:00PM
With dedication, therapy, and empathy from society, individuals can find peace through life’s adversity. This show – equal parts exhibition, community education, and outreach – awakens consciousness and celebrates individuals who have fought through unimaginable hardship while cultivating hope, grace, and charity in their lives.
Please consider becoming a part of the Exhibition by sharing your own story. These statements may be utilized on our sandbag installation or included in auditory pieces we are creating. By entering your work, you acknowledge that the Saugatuck Center for the Arts shall have the right to use, modify, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute for promotional or any other purposes your story. We ensure that all stories received will remain anonymous. You can submit your story here: https://goo.gl/forms/0VIcxBLzpsFdUHak2
We recognize that sharing is a vulnerable, intimate action. We will receive your stories with open hands, inquisitive minds, and wondering hearts. These can cultivate a time of healing for you and provide hope for others.
