Beer City USA is BOOMIN’! Locals will be pleased to learn that Cedar Springs Brewing Company is doing its part by bringing a new German style beer hall to the craft beverage scene on Bridge St. Find out what to expect when Küsterer Brauhaus opens its doors.

Specialty | Premier Barvarian-style Beer Hall

Küsterer Brauhaus’ 3460 square foot space will feature a three-barrel brewing system serving its own brand of Bavarian style beers, ales and one-off brews. Although they do not plan to offer a full-scale restaurant, deli snack food and pub fare will be available.

The beer hall still needs to go through an extensive approval process, but if all goes well, they will be opening alongside established pubs in the neighborhood like Harmony Hall, Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery and New Holland Brewing Company {The Knickerbocker}. This, along with the fact that the area was home to several German and Central European beer hall during Prohibition, makes it an ideal site to for a traditional Munich style beer hall. Founder David Ringler looks forward to the opening of the new establishment calling it “a positive contribution to this vibrant neighborhood.”

Küsterer Brauhaus is in good hands as Ringler has a history of success in the beer crafting industry. Cedar Springs Brewing Company is reported to have sold 783 barrels of beer in Michigan in 2018, a number that increased by more than 19% since the previous year. 

Cedar Springs Brewing Company is currently in the design process developing the site for the beer hall. Once Küsterer Brauhaus opens, it is sure to be an asset to the German-inspired Bridge St. craft beer community.
