Longtime radio host Kim Carson was let go today from 100.5 The River and Townsquare Media, the company that owns The River, WGRD, Channel 95-7 in Grand Rapids. Her name has been removed from The River's website, http://rivergrandrapids.com/. Kim spent at least eight years at Regent Broadcasting and Townsquare on WLHT and The River.

Grand Rapids Bicycle Company is shaking up the city scene left and right. This past March the store reopened at a new location on East Paris under new owners. Tom Smith, along with his sons Tom Jr., Brian, and Steven have brought ingenuity, forward thinking, and a well-rounded inventory to the 5 year old company, but that’s not all. Adjacent to the bike shop and opening on Wednesday, May 30th, is Trailhead Cafe.
