2008 St. Patrick's Day Guide E-mail
St. Patrick's festivities kick off March 15 this year with the annual parade in downtown Grand Rapids, parades in Holland and Saugatuck and big bashes at Founders and The Curragh. The festivities continue on Monday the 17th with Fenian's annual Wearin' of the Green Parade and parties at McFadden's, The Intersection and many more.

Winter Beer Festival at the Ballpark E-mail
This Saturday, bundle up and head to Fifth Third Ball Park for The Winter Beer Festival. Thirty-three Michigan breweries including Founders, Arcadia, New Holland and Dark Horse will set up around the park with samples of their finest brews to satisfy and warm guests.

Included with the price of admission are twelve drink tickets which are good for any of 170 beers in the park. One ticket buys a three ounce sample; two are good for six ounces. Additional tickets can be purchased for 50 cents.

20th Annual Golf Show Opens This Weekend E-mail

Maps Exhibit Opens at Public Museum E-mail
Open now at the Grand Rapids Public Museum is a new exhibit with a mission: to combat the alarming lack of geographic knowledge among the nation’s young people, and to raise awareness of the need to protect earth’s natural resources. National Geographic Maps: Tools for Adventure opened February 2 and will be in town until May 11.
