Sam and Janene Cummings have donated the historic Brookby Mansion on Plymouth Ave & Robinson Rd to Aquinas College. The gift has been announced in a press release from the College: Historic Brookby Estate Donated to Aquinas College Sam & Janene Cummings donate property that's closely-tied to College's past October 19, 2011 - (GRAND RAPIDS, MICH.) - At its quarterly meeting last night, the Aquinas College Board of Trustees officially accepted, on behalf of the College, a generous gift from Sam and Janene Cummings. The Cummings have given a large portion of the nearby Brookby Estate to Aquinas College to be used to enhance the academics, fundraising and visibility of the College. Full press release |
