It might feel a bit like summer this weekend, but autumn events are definitely underway with the Wyoming Pumpkin Path, Forest of Fear, Zeeland Pumpkinfest and Lowell's Harvest Celebration. Plus, Pulaksi Days takes over the West Side and ArtPrize winds to a close for this year.

Friday (10/07)

Pulaski Days - Enjoy three days of Polish hospitality, food, live music and activities at 14 halls and clubs, mostly around the west side of Grand Rapids. Cover charges vary based on each venue.

Forest of Fear - Opening October 7, take the self-guided tour through five chilling acres of woods and swamps inhabited by ghosts, ghouls and other terrifying creatures. Tickets are $10 and are now available through online purchasing.

Fall Parade of Homes - The Fall Parade of Homes returns Friday, October 7 with 23 homes to walk through stretching from Jenison to Allegan to Ada. Tickets are $12 for adults. Runs through Oct. 22.

Come Fly Away - Broadway Grand Rapids' 2011/12 season gets underway this evening with 'Come Fly Away', celebrating the music of Frank Sinatra through live music and choreographed dance. Runs through October 9.

Falling in Reverse - After getting kicked out of band Escape the Fate, Ronnie Radke's new band, Falling in Reverse, takes the stage at The Intersection to perform tracks from the debut album 'The Drug in Me Is You'. Tickets are $15 at the door.

Saturday (10/08)

Wyoming Pumpkin Path - At the 8th Annual Pumpkin Path at Lamar Park in Wyoming, kids can collect prizes, candy and toys from 70 Wyoming-area businesses on October 8. There will also be a pumpkin-carving and decorating contest. Free admission.

Zeeland Pumpkinfest - The three-day family festival in downtown Zeeland returns October 6, 7 & 8 with a parade, food, scarecrow display, games, family entertainment, artwork and more. Free admission.

Pulaski Days Parade - The annual parade moves from the West Side to Michigan NE this year and steps off at 11 a.m. Trophies will follow the parade at Little Hall.

Lowell Harvest Celebration - The annual fall celebration in downtown Lowell on October 8 features a chili cook-off, an antiques and collectables show, arts, crafts, family activities and more. Free admission.

Nourish Grand Opening - The new organic market at 634 Wealthy St SE celebrates its official grand opening with family activities, farm animals to feed, a chance to meet local vendors and prize drawings.

Halloween Palooza - On October 8, families can enjoy costume shopping, games, cookies, cider, free spider rings and more from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at all Goodwill stores around the Grand Rapids area. -

Final Day of ArtPrize - It's the final official day of ArtPrize. Take advantage of the beautiful weather and head downtown for a last look at this year's entries.
