Holiday shopping events are already underway this weekend with Beneath the Wreath, the Recycled Art Market and the annual Rotary Antique Show.

Friday (11/02)

Mane Event - Stylists from West Michigan salons will compete to show off their talents to cut, color and curl inside Crush and Eve at The B.O.B. $500 will be awarded to the first place winners as chosen by the audience. Proceeds from the event will be go the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

Beneath the Wreath - The holiday gift show presented by the Junior League of Grand Rapids is now in its 28th year. The charitable shopping event featuring fashions for women and children, handcrafted jewelry, gourmet food and holiday decor will be held for three days at the Cultural Center of St. Nicholas on East Paris SE.

Samson + Delilah - Opera Grand Rapids presents the musical event of Biblical proportions at DeVos Performance Hall, a lyrical representation of the Old Testament story Samson and Delilah. Can Samson can thwart Delilah’s attempts at seduction and retain the power to topple the Temple?

Free Radical - For the second Friday, visit 16+ galleries and 60+ artists along South Division between Weston and Cherry and participate in feedback after the event. Admission is free.

Saturday (11/03)

The Haunt's Final Day - It's the final weekend for one of West Michigan's best-known haunted attractions. Shiver and scream through 25,000 sq ft of professionally designed rooms and scenes that contain dozens of creepy creatures. Tickets are $15+ with online discounts, combos and speed passes available.

Rotary Antique Show - Now at The DeltaPlex, the weekend of charitable shopping includes antiques, fashion, furniture, gifts, appraisals and more, with proceeds going to West Michigan non-profits. Admission is $10 for adults, free for kids.

Recycled Art Market - Returning to City High/Middle School on Fuller for a 4th year, the market will have nearly 70 artisans on hand who use at least 50% recycled, upcycled or repurposed materials in their work. Proceeds from this event will go to the City High PTSA.

Sunday (11/04)

G. Love & Special Sauce - The alt/hip hop band comprised of G. Love and Houseman visits The Pyramid Scheme on Commerce SW with special guest Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad. Tickets are $25.
