Enjoy the winter weather outside this weekend with Grand Haven's Winterfest, WinterWest at Richmond Park or ICE at Monte's Lounge.
Flashdance - The pop culture phenomenon from the 80's comes alive on stage at DeVos Performance Hall with incredible sets and dancing and favorite songs like "Flashdance - What a Feeling," "Maniac," "Gloria," "Manhunt," and "I Love Rock & Roll". Tickets start at $32.
Grand Haven Wintefest - The annual outdoor event along Lake Michigan is packed with winter fun including a Luau, a snow angel contest, the Intergalactic Human Sled Race, a cardboard sled race, family dog pull and much more throughout the weekend.
WinterWest 2013 - West of downtown Grand Rapids, Richmond Park will also host outdoor family fun with free open ice-skating, hockey tournament, sled competitions and more.
ICE - Monte's Lounge will be transformed into an icy wonderland Friday night, complete with an ice luge inside and snow to play in outside. Ages 21+ welcome.
Bed - Eve at The B.O.B. will be transformed into a playground of beds starting at 9 p.m. "Sleepy time" attire is encouraged. $5 cover.

Ethnic Heritage Festival - The Grand Rapids Public Museum's Ethnic Heritage Festival is back from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.. Check out food tastings, performances, presentations and more all day presented by dozens of local ethnic clubs and associations. Admission is free to the Museum all day.
Grand Rapids Griffins - The first 2,000 fans in the gate at Van Andel Arena to see the Griffins take on the Houston Aeros will Griff garden gnome, and fans can skate on the ice after the game. Tickets: $14+.
Huntin' Time Expo - Michigan's largest hunting and trade show has been expanded to four days at The DeltaPlex. Check out deals on hunting gear, educational seminars and taxidermy displays. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids.
Papa Roach - The "Last Resort" rockers visit The Orbit Room stage with special guests Deadwood Stone and Coldville. Tickets are $24.50 in advance, $30 at the door.
Roller Derby - The Grand Raggidy Roller Girls are back at Rivertown Sports to take on the Traverse City Toxic Cherries as part of a double-header bout. Derby action starts at 6 p.m.
All Saturday Events
Harlem Globetrotters - It's another afternoon of family fun Sunday at Van Andel Arena with the Harlem Globetrotters. This time kids get to pick out the rules for the game, which will be implemented on the court and could affect the outcome of the game. Plus kids can play on the court with the Globetrotters for 30 minutes before tip-off.
