What is GRNow.com?

GRNow is an independently owned and operated portal website based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our mission is to provide quality information about GR with a special focus on events, dining and entertainment. The site was officially founded in June, 2003, as GrandRapidsLive.com and has evolved to become an informative and easy-to-use interactive resource for both those who live in metro GR, as well as visitors to the West Michigan area.


How do I become a member of the site?

 Becoming a member of the GRNow community is both easy and free. Simply visit our registration page to create an account. Once the form is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the address you submitted. Click on the confirmation link and your account will be active.

Members receive our monthly newsletter, as well as access to photo galleries, polls, message boards and future perks, including special coupons.

We will never sell or distribute your personal information or email address in any way.


How do I bookmark this site?

In Firefox, click and hold the GRNow logo just before 'http://www.grnow.com' in the address bar. Drag and drop the icon to the toolbar directly below.



Alternatively, click on 'Bookmarks' in the top menu and select 'Bookmark This Page...'. Select the folder in which you would like the bookmark to be saved from the 'Create In' drop down menu. Click 'Ok'.

In Internet Explorer, click on Favorites in the toolbar and select 'Add to Favorites'. Choose the appropriate folder and click 'ok'.



How do I submit my events to the calendar?

Events can be submitted through our free submit event form. Pending approval, the events will be added to the calendar.



What is the event newsletter and how do I sign up?

The event newsletter is a weekly email that helps you keep tabs on what's happening around the area during the upcoming weekend. Click here to sign up and begin selecting your personalized categories. You can also click the button located under the calendar.


How do I get back to the homepage?

You can return to the homepage by clicking on the text logo at the top of every page.



Where can I find information about advertising on GRNow or listing my business in the Biz directory?

GRNow offers exciting and affordable methods to promote your business. Visit our advertising page for pricing information and learn how you can reach our unique, web-savy audience.


Do you accept press releases?
