Grand Rapids Art Museum - The GRAM collection currently includes more than 5,000 works of art with a primary focus on European Art 1500 to the present and American Art from 1840 to the present. A majority of the collection is comprised of works on paper, including drawings by Impressionists Mary Cassatt and Camille Pissarro, as well as British artist Henry Moore. In addition, GRAM features print and ceramic works by Pablo Picasso, as well as paintings by Richard Diebenkorn and Mathias Alten, who lived and worked in Grand Rapids for forty years. A new $55m art museum has been constructed on Monroe Center and opened in October, 2007.

Grand Rapids Civic Theatre - The Civic Theatre is the largest community theatre in Michigan and the second largest in the U.S, with over 6,000 annual season ticket holders. Throughout the season, more than 90,000 theatre goers watch 110 main stage performances and 20 additional peformances for children. Each season's plays are varied, ranging from classic works like 'Death of Salesman' and 'Much Ado About Nothing' to noted modern hits 'Rumors' and 'You Can't Take it with You'. The Civic is currently undergoing a $10 million dollar renovation that will add a new glass atrium and lobby, restored tower and new dressing rooms. Completion is scheduled for late 2006.

Grand Rapids Symphony - Founded in 1930 by a group of 25 musicians, the Symphony has since grown to become one of the nation's finest and most well-respected regional orchestras with nearly 100 members. Each season, the Symphony performs more than forty classical concerts at DeVos Performance Hall, Royce Auditorium and the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center, in addition to the children's Lollipops series and the Chase Picnic Pops summer concerts at Cannonsburg Ski Area. In 2005, the Symphony was invited to play at Carnegie Hall in New York as part of its 75th Anniversary Season.

Grand Rapids Ballet Company - Tracing its roots back to 1971, the Michigan's only professional Ballet Company consists of thirteen full time dancers and two apprentices, and the School has an enrollment of over 250 students. The Company presents three main stage productions each season at DeVos Performance Hall, as well as half a dozen additional performances at the GRBC Studio and Forest Hills Fine Arts Center. In 1998 the company added Emmy-nominated choreographer Gordon Pierce Schmidt as Artistic Director, and the Ballet has received rave reviews for multiple shows, including two special collaborations with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
