Seriously?

I used to love this place. I still want to. However, I've stopped there twice in the last two weeks to eat and come away totally bummed both times.

Last week's dine-in got me three miniature, overspiced pork tamales, and when I said, sure, I'd love a basket of chips, I didn't expect to be paying $2.50 for it, nor was I told it would be an extra charge. My daughter's approx. $7 quesadilla consisted of a). some cheese; b). a tortilla. Thanks!

I stopped in for a quick lunch this week, figuring they were just having an off night last week, and ordered chips and cheese and a coke. I got a single layer of overbaked chips with a light coating of cheese, for $4.99. Imagine my surprise when I noted that they charged me for the salsa that went with them.

Sorry, Don. I'll drive over to Maggie's Kitchen from now on.

When I'm not sure what to order at Rafav's I just get the tacos, because they're cheap, and a side of guac to go. They are SO tasty. I love the soft flour tortillas the best. I highly recommend this wonderful neighborhood eatery. Food is fast, fresh, and fantastic.

Great Authentic Mexican Food

I've tried just about everything on the menu. Since everything is made fresh to order, it is tough to choose which is best. Personally, I thing the pork tamales are excellent. If you like authentic Mexican food, you have to try this place.
