What on Earth did you expect when you ordered the Charley's "Bucket"? For it to come out in a gold-plated service platter? Come on.

When Charley got his crab back...

Yes, Charley's has struggled the past few years, but from personal experience, they have really shaped up. The Brunch is extraordinary, and the service has substantially improved. If you haven't been in awhile, give old Chuck a second glance.

My husband and I had made a tradition out of going to Charlie's Crab for our wedding anniversary. However, the last two years were so disappointing, we will not be returning. Both years, one of us was served the wrong entree, and after telling our waiter, it was taken away with no apology. One of us was left with their meal, which grew cold while waiting for the correct meal to be brought out. Both times the waiter acted as though this was a bother. So, two years in a row of bad service, over-priced food is enough. Time for a new tradition.

nice brunch

I've been to both dinner and brunch at Charley's Crab. Both were good, but the brunch really is worth the money. For about $20, you get all you can eat salmon, smoked fish, shrimp, waffles, meats, fruit and a large selection of resorts. If you want to try Charley's Crab, this is the way to do it.

great atmosphere

Charley's Crab is a hot spot as far as location goes. Open glass windows overlooking Grand River-nice scenery- downtown GR. One would definently want to dress up for this place. However, the food was quite pricey and not to what one's expectations would be. You are paying more for the atmosphere than the food. I ordered the Charley's bucket and it literally came in a silver 'bucket' with my food inside. I would go again though.
