Every now and again an event takes place which serves to bring the community together providing fun activities and representing a cause that is meaningful in our lives. The Shanon M. Weiber 9th Annual Bump for Breath is one of those events. Find out more about this worthwhile day of fun and what you can do to be a part of it.
The Bump for Breath will be taking place on Saturday July 28 at The Score restaurant from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM. It features a co-ed 4’s beach volleyball tournament and is brought to your by Friends and Families of Cystic Fibrosis. It will serve to raise funds and awareness helping those that are suffering with this disease. The event will also commemorate the life of Shanon M. Weiber who lost her fight with breast cancer a few years ago.
Entry for the event is $25 per person or $100 for a team of four. More experienced players will want to register in Division A while Division B is for those who want to have fun and support a great cause. Registration begins at 8:30 for Division A and the game kicks off at 9. Division B players should show up at 11:30 AM to register and play by noon.
