Bob Hope: American Patriot

Beginning April 1, the Gerald R. Ford Museum will honor distinguished comedian Bob Hope with a special exhibit acknowledging Hope’s 100 years. Included in the exhibit will be costumes, props, photos, awards and artwork which emphasize his links with every President since FDR, as well as his dedication to entertaining U.S. Troops abroad.

Butterflies Bloom at the Gardens

Foremost’s Butterflies are Blooming begins March 1 at Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. The largest temporary butterfly exhibit in the country runs through April 30, and features 6,000 butterflies. More than 50 species from tropical rain forests in South America and Asia fly freely within the climate controlled conservatory set at 80 degrees.

Grand Rapids Boat Show Bigger than Ever in 2005

The Grand Rapids Boat Show Sails into DeVos Place February 9-13. The 60th annual show promises to be larger than ever with more than 400 boats, dealers and exhibitions taking advantage of the expanded floor space created by the newly opened DeVos Ball Room.

17th Annual West Michigan Golf Show

The West Michigan Golf Show kicks off its 17th consecutive year this Friday, February 4, at DeVos Place, and runs through Sunday. The show will feature over 100 booths promoting golfing destinations in Michigan, the Midwest and the Sunbelt, as well as 75 booths of equipment, merchandise and clothing.
