The music venue first rose to prominence in the Eastown neighborhood before moving to its current larger facility on Grandville Ave, on the southwest side of downtown. The Intersection has two performance areas; the front lounge section called The Stache hosts smaller shows, while the main stage hosts nationally touring bands. Nightlife events are regularly held here, including frequent appearances by Michigan cover band, The Mega 80's. Drinks are available at the two main bars and the entry area also has pool tables.
