The free museum on Washington in downtown Grand Haven features exhibits on Michigan logging and fur trading, as well as temporary rotating exhibits and art shows. The Tri-Cities organization also operates a second location, the Depot Museum of Transportation, located a few blocks down at Washington & North Harbor Drive (open seasonally). Housed in a restored 1870s railroad depot, exhibits cover railroading, maritime and land transportation and its impact on Grand Haven and the Lake Michigan shore. Admission to both museums is free.
