Women ages 13+ are invited to join us for a night of empowerment. The event will begin in the Peter Wege Theatre with testimonies, discussions, and even a little humor about managing mental health in daily life and the workplace, being a mom with mental illness, positive body image, and the truth behind treatment.
Speakers include Deanna Falzone of Fox 17, Connie Flachs of the Grand Rapids Dance Company, Hope College Student Ahtlete Rachael Braginton, Dr. Agnew of Adolescent and Family Behavioral Health Services, and comedians of We Are Funny Girls Grand Rapids.
The second portion of the event will take place in the lobby with refreshments and empowerment activities such as a stretch lead by Embody GR, a succulent bar by Eastern Floral, Letters of Encouragement by Paper Studio GR, facials by Chasing Vanity Salon & Spa, essential oil rollers by Moondrop Herbals, fashion by Paper Doll, Empowerment Cards by the MHF, cuisine by Greek To Go and desserts by Sweetie-licious.
