Extinct Embroidery: Ivory Billed Woodpecker

Join Solstice Handmade for a night of stitching and socializing surrounded by artwork at Lions & Rabbits Gallery. We will cover 3 basic embroidery stitches to complete this design of The Ivory Billed Woodpecker. This class is fit for both beginners and pros, the class will be split into small groups with periodic demos by Instructor Dayna Walton to allow for all to work at their own pace. Ages 14+ please! All supplies included, each participant will recieve a printed sampler to stitch, a hoop, thread, needle, and instructional sheet. Feel free to BYOB! This relative of Northern Michigan’s Pileated Woodpecker was found in the South Eastern United States in Mature Forests. See Photos from 1935, when they were last confirmed to be sighted here .
