GRAM Discovery Club

Wednesday, January 9, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Children 3-5 years old and their families are invited to join the GRAM Discovery Club. Each month features a new theme to engage children with games, stories, music, and an art project.

Free for members, $3 child 3-5 years old, $7 per adult, $6 per senior

October 10: Music and Movement
It’s time for a dance party with the GRAM Discovery Club—play instruments, learn dance moves inspired by the artwork, and sing along to a story. Afterwards, head to GRAM Studio to create a special artwork to move to the rhythm!

November 14: Superheroes at GRAM
Superheroes have arrived at GRAM! Go through superhero training by exploring super-human features in artwork. Play several games, listen to a special hero story, go on a treasure hunt, and make a superhero costume.

December 12: A Trip Around the World
Grab your bags, it’s time to journey around the world! Discovery Club participants will explore artwork featuring faraway places with a special treasure hunt game and stamps in their GRAM passport. Families will also sing songs, listen to a story, and make a special souvenir to remember their trip.

January 9: Lets go on a Safari
Search for animals throughout the Museum during this safari Discovery Club. Use inspiration from the galleries to create a special creature-themed art project in GRAM Studio.

The deadline to register for GRAM Discovery Club programming is two days prior to event date. For more information, contact Kristen Hoeker, Group Experience Manager, at 616.831.2930 or khoeker@artmuseumgr.org.
