PEACE has been writing poetry since the age of 10, evolving to conscious rap, slam poetry and music. PEACE accepted a challenge and stepped out to participate in her first poetry slam, and won 1st place at Detroit Symphony Orchestra in 2008.
Shortly after, PEACE won 1st place in the Detroit “Bring It” Talent Competition in the category of Spoken Word,Rap and Comedy. It was these treasured moments that ignited her love for slam poetry, and shaped her into a reckoned force within the slam community.
PEACE was an intricate part of former Councilman, Kwame Kenyatta’s 40 school “Pride Tour” & still remains apart of the “Ceasefire” Initiative spearheaded by radio personality Reggie Reggie Davis.
PEACE continues to move crowds with her energetic wordplay and lyrical skill.
Her current projects include writing in preparation for publishing her book entitled “If I Were a Writer”. She released her second CD recording, “Late Bloomer” in summer of 2016 and continues to tour throughout the country.
