Join us for a conversation with Grand Rapids-based artist Norwood Viviano as he discusses his work featured in GRAM’s current exhibition, A New State of Matter: Contemporary Glass. Viviano, an associate professor at Grand Valley State University, was the subject of a solo GRAM exhibition in 2015, and his work has been shown and collected internationally. Learn how Viviano fuses fine arts practice with data and research findings in geography, economics, and the social sciences to create environments in which sensuous beauty and topical information coalesce.
The Visionnaire Series – at Lunch takes place monthly on select Tuesdays in GRAM’s Cook Auditorium. Topics vary by month and relate to the exhibitions on view and our creative community. Guests enjoy complimentary snacks and coffee, and are invited to bring their own lunch.
This event is organized by the Visionnaire Executive Committee. The Visionnaire Executive Committee is a group of creative young adults, ages 21-40, committed to introducing new audiences to GRAM and encouraging lifelong engagement.
