A trip to The Grand Rapids Downtown Market is always a great way to spend a day. With over 20 indoor market vendors, cooking classes, rooftop greenhouses and more, the market guarantees a fun food experience. On April 27, from 10 AM to 8 PM, the Downtown Market will be hosting Flight Friday, a food and drink sampling event.
For those who are not familiar, a flight is a number of small samples of food or drink that are made available so that people can sample various types and flavors of food. On the 27th, those that attend the event will have the opportunity to sample spirits, coffee, mini scones, ice cream, pasta and more.
This adventurous tasting experience will feature a number of local businesses from the Grand Rapids area. Here are some of the businesses and the dishes they will be offering as samples:
