The Grand Rapids Art Museum has been serving its community, bringing all forms of art to West Michigan residents. This summer is no exception as the museum is currently in its tenth season of GRAM on the Green, its annual outdoor summer concert series. This Thursday night free event includes food trucks, dancing and a cash bar and those who come for the music can stay for the art.
This season, there are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy this free live music event. Artists will be featured every Thursday night running through August 16 including regional and local artists representing diverse genres of music like pop, electronica, rock, soul, bluegrass and more. Concerts will run from 6-9 PM and will be held on the Museum Terrace rain or shine.
The full concert lineup can be found here.
Some of the participating acts include:
- Tunde Olaniran with Dacia Bridges
- Soul Club and Yolanda Lavender
- Major Murphy with Frankie and Myrrh
- May Erlewine
- Earth Radio
Summer evenings are a great time to go out and enjoy the warm weather and a free concert is just what the doctor ordered. Instead of sitting at home, why not go out and take advantage of this event that supports local artists in the community? It promises to be a rockin’ good time!
