Stan Diego is officially opening doors on April 26thand will definitely be the happening place to hang out in the greater Grand Rapids area. This new concept from Meritage Hospitality brings the vibes of SoCal to West Michigan in the form of a taco kitchen.
What was once home to Crooked Goose is now a transformed laid-back atmosphere that transports you to sunny California. Stepping into the renovated building is an open concept with bright beachy colors. The restaurant features a retro orange VW surf van in the center of the dining room and foosball table to get you up and working off those tacos. The openness of the restaurant even gives diners a look at their food being freshly prepared by the kitchen.
The menu includes a variety of taco flavors with homemade tortillas, ceviche, sopes, tamales, tortas, homemade salsas and guacamole, fresh squeezed margaritas, and so much more! With Chef Luke Theaker leading the kitchen, you can expect delicious Latin American cuisine. Chef Luke has previously worked at notable Grand Rapids restaurants, Grove, Greenwell, and Gravity.
