Beer City USA isn’t just for the boys! Grand Rapids Girls Pint Out’s mission is to build a network of women who love craft beer, while also playing an active role in this community. In doing so, they connect through social media, blog posts and events for local beer loving women.
Girls Pint Out originated in Indianapolis, IN in 2010 and the movement quickly spread to Arizona and Texas. Today, they have over 100 chapters in 40 states, including their Grand Rapids branch here in Michigan. They are 501 (3) © approved qualifying them as a nonprofit organization.
The organization provides a forum for discussion, education and fun. Their women-centered events include educational, charity, and socializing. There is no membership process to create opportunities to join in, have a great time, and enjoy some tasty beer.
If you are looking for future ways to connect with Girls Pint Out, there are some interesting events coming up in the Grand Rapids area. These include the Pink Boots Society Grand Rapids Chapter Meetup taking place on Thursday, February 6 and the Flowers & Sours event on Tuesday, February 25.
Whether you’re in the beer business, a craft beer lover or want to connect with others that share your interest – Girls Pint Out may just be the perfect fit for you. Bottoms up, ladies!
