We’ve been living it up at The Hendrik on the West Side since January and have had our eye on the rooftop space ever since! Last month, we hosted our first event at this prime location with Rockford Property Management! Learn more about how we kicked off summer with The Hendrik…

The Details

Hello Summer was all about showing off The Hendrik’s “modern living and West Side style”! Our guests received a private tour of the location and living spaces, including the inviting lobby, a model one-bedroom apartment, workout facility, and Bridge Street Market {located below The Hendrik}. Not to mention the fifth floor rooftop made for the perfect summer backdrop and hangout spot to bring the community together! Amenities that our guests enjoyed on the rooftop space included a built in grill, community room with modern furniture and wine fridge, and bathroom for use.

Local Love

While our guests included residents of The Hendrik, we were also able to celebrate summer with local influencers of Grand Rapids!

Elk Brewing

One of our many sponsors included Elk Brewing! Guests sipped their unique variety of beer while playing an exciting round of corn hole. Elk Brewing has been open since May 2014 with two locations – Uptown Grand Rapids {Wealthy Street} and Comstock Park. There’s an event or food/drink special each day of the week {Monday Movies with Kevin is one of our personal favorites}.

Motu Viget Spirits

We were excited to have Motu Viget Spirits as a featured sponsor at the event. They are #GRANDNEW to the Grand Rapids drink scene with premium Brut Champagne. Let’s just say we could barely keep their bubbly stocked – so it’s safe to say they were a HIT!

Adrian Butler aka DJ AB

Summer vibes are even better with summer beats and DJ AB kept the party going! We loved seeing our guests truly take in the season while enjoying the soundscape {we saw you chair dancing}. Adrian’s next event, The Menu, will be at The Sovengård on July 25th! Tickets sold out TWO WEEKS prior to the previous event so run, don’t walk! {We’ll be hanging out there too!}
