Who doesn’t enjoy a nice, refreshing nap? Well, now you can nap to support a good cause by participating in Napportunity, taking place at Rosa Parks Circle on Thursday, Sept. 27. The event is a collaboration between the West Michigan company, Comfort Research, and the non-profit, Artists Creating Together (ACT). Find out more about what’s going to go down.

On Sept. 27, from 4-6 PM, Rosa Park Circle will be filled with Comfort Research’s Big Joe bean bags. Passers-by will be given a sleep mask and encouraged to plop down for a quick nap, all while being entertained by Silent J, the world’s quietest DJ.

For every person that decides to nap, Big Joe will be donating $10 to

ACT. ACT is a nonprofit organization that encourages individuals with disabilities to learn and grow through the arts. The money will go to funding classes provided by the organization to this end. The goal of the event is to raise $10,000 during the two hours it is taking place.
